John Nellis x Kylian Mbappe

Worked on ideation, pre-planning, storyboarding, post-production and YouTube strategy for branded content that gained 60m+ views across all platforms.

Process

John Nellis is one of the fastest growing football creators in the world.

In September 2024, he had a significant branded content activation to deliver, partnering with Sorare. We wanted to create a piece of content that had never been seen before in the football space.

The plan was to take one of John's friends from Lille to Paris to meet Kylian Mbappe. The huge twist was that he had to be blindfolded the entire journey - a total of 10 hours!

Strategy

Meticulous planning was required, with every detail of the video thoroughly planned out ahead of time before travelling. Each section was designed with retention in mind with constant hooks and re-hooks in the storyline to keep audiences watching till the end.
